Artist Proofs
The Artist Proofs are the most exclusive pieces in our fine art photographic collections, no more then five prints are produced as Artist Proofs of a single photograph. The Artist Proofs are hand signed and A/P follows the signature. Artist Proofs in the McMillen Fine Art Photography Collection are extremely limited in nature and are very rare as these special photographic prints are often used for gallery shows, museum hangings, along with being reserved for our very best collectors.
Limited Editions 5 to 100
Limited Edition Photographs are hand signed and numbered by Jared McMillen representing the highest quality in the art being released. Conservation Mounts (see below)
The Conservation Mounts present a modern and sleek look, the traditional emulsion based darkroom print is mounted behind OP3 fine art UV protected acrylic. Once the print is mounted a museum grade PVC backing is applied to the back of the print, this process creates an air tight seal protecting the photograph. The art is then finished off with a composite wood Larsen-Juhl box frame giving the piece of art a floating feeling off the wall once installed.
Framing (see below)
The traditional emulsion based darkroom print is mounted behind OP3 fine art UV protected acrylic. Once the print is mounted a museum grade PVC backing is applied to the back of the print, this process creates and air tight seal protecting the photograph. Once the photograph is sealed we place a linen liner on top of the acrylic which lines the art. Once the liner is in place we finish off the art with a handmade and milled Italian Olive Wood Molding which is presented in different shades.
