Wildlife
Bull Moose of the Uinta's
We had no intention of capturing a bull moose when we were out in the Uinta's the other week. Over the last two months we have been trying to capture a certain scene and location deep in the Uinta Mountains of Utah. On each visit the lighting conditions have been less then ideal, but on our last visit it was pure magic. The intended shot did not happen, but we ran into this guy making the visit that day well worth the effort of carring three medium and large format cameras along with our digital equipment. This image was captured on our 35mm digital camera and infact this is the first photograph we have ever released into our limited edition collection captured in the digital medium along with being a wildlife shot. The moment and photograph was much too perfect not to add it into our collection and share this powerful limited edition photograph with the world. This was no easy image to capture, I sat in the rain for two hours hoping the rain would stop and the clouds would break long enough to capture this massive bull moose. Every element of this image worked out perfectly and we are happy to share the final image with all of you.
