Infinity

Since moving to Utah years ago we have gotten several requests for a photograph of the Great Salt Lake just West of Salt Lake City. These requests lead me to searching out the perfect location that I felt truly captures the massive body of salt water. Everything needed to come together to create this photograph, I wanted a somewhat one toned photograph of the lake, I had to wait until the perfect balance was in place with sky and water. On my seventh visit to this location there was finally enough water in the lake to cast reflections off the old oil line track leading toward "INFINITY" and the Great Salt Lake. Standing there I was captivated by the beauty of the lake that I have so often just driven by. "INFINITY" is a constant reminder to slow down and look around at the beauty surrounding us each and everyday.
