Lasting Light

Built in 1871 Pigeon Point Lighthouse remains perched atop Pigeon Point casting it's light across the Pacific. This lighthouse is the tallest all along the Pacific, the moody day lent itself for a traditional black and white capture, the long 15 second exposure calmed the wildness of the ocean. The detail in this photograph is hands down amazing, in a large print you can make out the detail of sea gulls sitting on the bluffs.
