Spring Storm Rising
After driving for eight hours, our spirits were low when we arrived at Yosemite. It was dumping rain, and we were tired. The monotony of our wipers, pulsing back and forth, defeated our hopes of capturing a photograph of the iconic Valley floor with El Cap and Half Dome. Then, the rain miraculously started to slow. Regaining our optimism, we continued our journey into the park. As we entered the famous Tunnel View, the rain had stopped. The clouds shifted, settling on the ridge line. We jumped out of the RV, smiling cheek to cheek, and quickly grabbed our gear to compose the shot. The display in front of our lens was amazing as the spring storm rose from the valley just for us to capture.
