McMillen Fine Art Photography, Limited Edition Collections
The images found in our collection have been created from the skilled use of various camera systems, from our vintage Hasselblad to our medium format 6x17 panoramic film cameras, we believe the best images result from patience and the willingness to explore.
Over the years we have found that the best way to preserve our limited edition imagery is by mounting each fine art photograph behind fine art UV protected acrylic. Each one of our limited edition photographs are mounted behind acrylic, no matter the size or framing option you choose. The process of acrylic mounting is labor intensive and most gallery's and photographers choose not to mount this way due to the high expense, we strongly believe this process is one of the few ways that will stand the test of time. We at McMillen Fine Art Photography offer two mounting methods, Museum Mounts and our standard framing and liner options. For our signature Museum Mounts we take the photograph and mount it behind polished fine art UV protected acrylic, from that point we carefully apply a PVC backing and finish the artwork off with a box frame that when hung creates the feeling that the photograph is floating off the wall. For framing options we offer several all wood frames which are hand crafted and come in several colors to meet your current decor. The photograph starts by being mounted behind fine art UV protected acrylic, then we place a cloth liner (matte) around the photograph, finally the photograph is placed into a custom hand crafted frame. Our Museum Mounts and Framing options are all made to order, everything we do is custom and crafted once you choose the size, frame options, etc. Please allow four to six weeks for production and delivery of your limited edition fine art photograph.
Artist Proof Collections
The Artist Proofs are the most exclusive pieces in our fine art photograph collections, no more then five photographs are produced as Artist Proofs in our limited edition collections, in many cases our Artist Proofs are much lower in number. The Artist Proofs are hand signed and an A/P follows the signature. Artist Proofs in the McMillen Fine Art Photography Collection are extremely limited in nature and are very rare as these special photographic prints are often used for gallery shows, museum hangings, along with being reserved for our very best collectors.
Limited Editions 5 to 250
The Limitied Editions Photographs are hand signed and numbered representing the highest quality in the art being released. Limited Editions are produced with no more then 250 being released, often the released number is lower depending on the image. This keeps the editions very rare and very collectable in nature.
Our square photography collection is offered in the 12"x12", 20"x20", 30"x30" and 40"x40"sizes, the fine art prints are mounted behind the highest polished UV protected fine art acrylic available and come ready to hang, we like to refer to this mounting style as "Museum Mounted".

The McMillen's strive to create images that are pure and their final prints are a testament to what they witnessed while exposing the film. During this digital era the McMillen's continue to push the limits of capturing truly unique images via the age old method of film photography, they choose to shoot on the highest quality films which still yeild better results then the digital medium.
